How to Change the Cursor on a Chromebook

If all you want to do is change the size or color of the Cursor, you can do this in a few easy steps in Settings. However, those who want something more interesting must download an app from a third party.
From Settings
- Start up your Chromebook and open the System menu. Guide to the bottom right corner and click the time if you need help with how to do this.
- Choose the gear icon at the top to open Settings when the System menu appears.
- You’ll see a menu on the left when you open the Settings window. Select Accessibly. Select Advanced to show a new menu below if you can’t find this tab.
- Pick the second option, “Manage accessibility features,” and then choose “Mouse and touchpad” from this menu.
- There are different options for the Cursor here—select Show large mouse cursor to change the size of the Pointer. When you click the toggle, it will be set to large by default, but you can make it medium or small with the Adjust cursor size option you’ll see below.

How to Change the Cursor on Windows 10
Most people still stick with the default cursor, but what if you want to try something different? If you use Windows 10, here’s how to change your Cursor.
- On the taskbar’s lower left corner, click the Windows button if you’d rather press the Windows key on your keyboard.
- When a menu comes up, click Settings to open it.
- You’ll find the Devices option in the Settings window; click on it.
- Choose Mouse from the menu to the left. You can also reach this step faster if you extend the Windows menu, start typing “mouse,” and bond on the first result on the left.
- Once in the Mouse tab, go to the right and choose “Additional mouse options.”
- Choose the second tab, titled Pointers, from the pop-up box.
- Under Scheme, you’ll see that it’s the Windows default, and under Customize, you’ll see a list of the cursors you can choose from.
- You can also click “Browse” if you want to add any third-party cursors you have downloaded. But before you do that, you can choose from the different cursors with Windows by clicking on Browse, which will take you straight to the Cursors folder.
- Relate Apply and then OK to save the changes after you select a new cursor.

How to Change the Cursor on Mac
Although they may not have many options, Mac users can customize their cursors. If the default cursor doesn’t work for you, here’s what you need to do to change it and make it more visible on the screen.
Remember that depending on the macOS version you’re running, you may see different cursor options.
Follow the below steps to access the Cursor.
- Choose Apple from the menu.
- Choose System Preferences and from there, select Accessibility.
- From the newly opened menu, choose Display.
- Select Pointer to see what features you can change.
- Move the slider next to the Pointer size to increase or reduce the size of the Cursor.
- Click the box next to the Pointer outline color or Pointer fill color to choose a color.
- A color wheel will show up in a pop-up window. Choose a new color for your mouse cursor.
Note: If you often lose your Cursor, make sure the box next to the Shake mouse pointer to locate is checked. This will increase cursor size and make it more effortless to find.

Option 1
